FINAL STORY IDEAS
These are our final story ideas for our digital news production.
NEWS PACKAGE (2'30")
Our news package will be about going viral, and the life of a YouTuber. We will provide our audience with a step by step guide to making a viral video, based on the research we have carried out. We will also create our own viral videos, and see how they do online, over the space of two weeks. As part of the package, we will also interview a YouTuber, Katie Joslin, who is a student on our course. We will attempt to learn what life as a YouTuber is like, to give our audience an idea of what it is like to be 'internet famous'.
LIVE PACKAGE (2'00")
For the live package, we are going to attempt to break a world record. This world record relates to the water bottle challenge that is currently going viral online. We will take two students and put them up against one another to see who can flip the bottle the most times in 60 seconds and hopefully break the record. Our co-presenter George will commentate. We will hopefully do this outside in front of a live audience.
